The ECX parameter pUnit (declared int) is null-tested and its +4 (D2UnitStrc.nClassId) is loaded at 0x0017552d to index the items.txt table via TXT_Items_GetLine, from which bCompactSave is returned. Same-width retype of the register parameter; name kept. No Windows twin (inlined there). Mac callers were not traced.
