Mac body reads no ECX/EDX/[EBP+n]: it memsets the 0x202-byte chat input buffer (plus a second 0x202 buffer), zeroes the length and cursor globals, plain RET. Windows CHAT_ClearInput 0x0047bdc0 is void (void) and does the same memset(0x202) plus two zero stores, so the Mac plate's 'no Windows twin' note is wrong.
