Mac body takes no arguments: loads a global channel pointer, checks its sound record (+0x30 == 2, +0x4 range) and returns 1, or 0 via XOR EAX,EAX when the pointer is null; plain RET. Windows twin SOUND_GetAmbientMusicState 0x004b9c60 is BOOL (void).
